Oswestry Town Museum tells the history of the town through the stories of local people. With a range of objects and exhibitions, including the old jail door, a timeline of the town’s history, and natural history exhibits. An exhibition looks at love letters written between two soldiers in WW2, and an art project inspired by this as part of Heritage Open Days which created a diamond from the burnt letters of local people, now on display.
The Museum also helped to create the replica trenches that are at Park Hall Countryside Experience.
