Oswestry has always been famous for its pubs. There were once over a hundred! A good few less now but there is a still a really good selection of traditional pubs along the high street. Did we mention the local brewery and distillery, Henstone and Stonehouse? Their fame is growing, and they seem to be getting awards all the time. The town and the brewery now connect via our local heritage railway – from town centre to Weston Wharf by heritage train and a drink at the end!
