Where to eat in Oswestry and near here.
Food and drink in Oswestry & the Borderlands is especially tasty.  Walk around Oswestry town and you will find great places to eat and drink. You won’t be far from cafe culture with delicious home-made cakes and your favourite coffee or pot of tea. There are great restaurants and pubs too with menus packed with local produce. Or hop over the border for a true taste of Wales.

Oswestry Town has always been known for the number of pubs and some of the best pubs in Shropshire are here. A few less now but still a great mix of traditional and right up to date. Why not call in at the “Shrewsbury and West Shropshire CAMRA Market Town Pub of the year”? Talking of award winners, you don’t want to miss our local brewery and distillery. The  live music scene is growing all the time too. Several local pubs have open mic nights which are great fun.
Go beyond Oswestry and enjoy discovering pubs and hotels tucked away in Borderland villages. There’s a delicious mix of Shropshire canal and riverside pubs, country hotels and even garden centres with especially scrumptious cafes.
There are dog friendly places to eat and drink too, so you can bring the whole family to enjoy food and drink in Oswestry and the Borderlands.
