    12th century moated castle in the centre of the village of Whittington. Free access to grounds. Please remember to pay for parking. Open all year. Tea room open daily 9am – 5pm in the summer and 10am – 4pm in the winter. We are dog-friendly – try our doggie ice cream!

    Special events all trough the summer – living history re-enactments, live outdoor theatre, ghost tours.

    Unusual wedding venue – contact the manager for more details.

    Tours by arrangement 01691 662500. Also second hand bookshop. Look out for for special events. Disabled access to most parts of site, all shop facilities, toilets. Car Park is pay and display.
