What’s on in Oswestry this weekend?

What’s on in Oswestry and the Borderlands this weekend?

Almost the end of June and the last Friday of the month always brings Oswestry’s Artisan Market. The street market brings a tasty mix of local food and drink producers. Visit later in the day for Oswestry Market’s late night opening. There’s a bar and music.

Sunday’s highlight is the Bulgarian dance Troupe in Cae Glas park. A really popular event in the park’s calendar so brng a picnic blanket and enjoy!

Another chance to take a walk around historic Oswestry. Our free guided tour is on Saturday at 11am from Oswestry Tourist Information Centre.

Whittington Castle plays host to an explosive re-enactment of the Napoleonic Wars. Authentic uniforms, battle cries and gunfire bring to life this historic event.
