It’s the last Five for Friday of the summer holidays and there are some great places to visit in Oswestry and near here for a last treat before the children go back to school.
Park Hall Countryside Experience finishes their summer of fun with Bop and Pop week. The amazing maize maze is open too so expect a full day of farm activities.
Railway enthusiasts have two great events to choose from. Welshpool and Llanfair Railway have their annual steam gala. For a panoramic railway view go along to Cambrian Heritage Railway and see the model railway layouts in their exhibition. You can ride all day to Weston Wharf and back on the full size trains too!
The British Ironwork Centre has real animals! Meet the animal family and be prepared for some more unusual ones – a large spider maybe?
Ready for virtual reality or to explore an escape room? Black Hawk Laser is the place to be – great anyway but especially if the summer sun disappears!
