There are only 6 weekends until Christmas so time to get that all important visit booked. Father Christmas or Santa Claus – he doesn’t mind what you call him but he does want to see as many children as possible before the big day. If not, how will he be able to tell the elves what to pack?

He will be at Park Hall Countryside Experience along with the Reindeer Flying School. Do you think the reindeers are naughty or nice?
Santa will be singing along with Mrs Claus at the British Ironwork Centre. The elves will be in the Ice Cave to make sure you have a sweet treat and then a visit to the Toy Cabin for a special pre-Christmas gift will round off the visit.
There are two choices for visiting Father Christmas if you would like a train ride. Start your journey in the centre of Oswestry with Cambrian Heritage Railways. The train will tootle down to Weston Wharf and back and there will be some fun Christmas activities in the station too.
Welshpool and Llanfair railway invites you on a steam journey through the beautiful Mid Wales countryside. Settle into one of the warm carriages and get ready to meet Santa and his elves on the train. There are warm drinks and mince pies too.
It’s Christmas Live in Oswestry on 6th December. Santa will be there to meet you in his grotto in the indoor market . The streets will be full of fairground rides, Christmas stalls and there will be live music and entertainment too.
