Is this Shropshire’s most Christmassy weekend? Oswestry thinks it is!! Oswestry Christmas live – it’s a fun mix of all things festive! There will be live music on Bailey Head, Christmas market stalls and Santa’s grotto. Can you picture yourself inside a super sized snow globe? Are you ready for fabulous fairground rides? There’s even a firework finale. For one night only Oswestry is a Christmas extravaganza of festive fun.
Oswestry Christmas Parade – from 11 o’clock on Saturday morning, the parade of Christmas floats drives slowly around Oswestry town centre. Which will your favourite theme be? There are sure to be pantomime favourites with fairies and elves and Santa is sure to be there too. Be ready to catch a sweetie or two too.
Saturday is Small Business Saturday and there is no better way to enjoy that than by staying on after the parade to browse through Oswestry market and our wonderful independent shops. Go on an elf hunt as you wander around and you could win a fantastic £50 voucher to spend in your favourite shop. Still looking for that perfect stocking filler? Take a trip to Oswestry Showground for The Antiques and Collector’s Fair on Saturday and Sunday.
