Finding a hotel with good food can be difficult. But we know from talking to our guests that dining in our restaurant, “Seasons”, with its huge, south-facing sash windows, is central to the Pen-y-Dyffryn experience. We are open to non-residents 7 days a week.
We are the longest established AA Two Rosette restaurants in Oswestry and the whole of Shropshire. (Over 20 years now). Our guests appreciate the good food, and they tell us so. Ingredients are healthy, locally sourced, and we try very hard to use mainly local produce. Contemporary cuisine is a feature of our menu, along with more traditional delights. And there is always at least one vegetarian choice at each course.
Our Head Chef Lewis Barton, have been at Pen-y-Dyffryn several years now, and with the help their excellent kitchen brigade they make it his business to change the menu every single day of the year. It also varies in accordance with the changing seasons. Every night is surprise night!
But there is always a choice of four dishes at each course, along with canapés, a surprise appetiser and canapés. Special diets including Vegan and Coeliac choices can also be catered for as everything is freshly prepared each day.
Is there a bar? Of course! And a long wine list, majoring on New World wines.
