You may have seen Grum’s pictures from earlier this week on our Facebook page, Ellemere is a town filled with ways to spend a serene summer sojourn. Take a stroll by the Mere feeding the ducks, swans and geese or watching out for rarer avian visitors. Maybe a vinyard visit is more your thing, Colemere Vinyard has a tour running on the 15th of June. (Book in advance) A Leisurely Cycle can be arranged through A Mere Cycle and the Canal Towpaths are wonderful on two wheels!
This lovely Market Town holds many events such as the Food Festival on 29th & 30th of June where you can tickle your tastebuds…if all this is too much for one day why not stay in a local B&B like Hordley Hall traditional and welcoming with vintage treasures in every room. Or if you prefer self catering then you could try Castle Farm Holidays or Oaks Farm , the choice is yours.
