Brrrr! The nights are drawing in the jumpers are going on and spooky season is upon us once more! Oswestry and the Borderlands have something for everyone this year. Let’s start with daunting ghost tours through Shrewsbury Prison, spooky on a warm summers day let alone when things go bump in the night…. just don’t wander from the crowd!
Again not for the faint hearted and with a head for heights there are vertigo risking boat trips with Anglo Welsh over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct this Halloween…don’t ….look….down!
Looking for family fun? Oswestry Market has a Halloween Market on the Bailey Head on October 26th between 9am & 2pm with a spooky surprise at 1pm. Facepainting, Trick or Treat and more.
There are also traditional pumpkin patches like Llynclys Hall Farm where you can pick your own Pumpkin or choose from one of their huge range of prepicked. Their displays are legendary and so much more to do when you have chosen your Pumpkin! Or…why not try Park Hall Countryside Experience for a milder Halloween experience with the little ones in mind – you can even carve your pumpkin and leave the mess at the farm!
Of course the spooky kooky Halloween thing may not be your thing…. In which case why not just have a pint in our Multi Award Winning Bailey Head pub and wait for it all to blow over…..
Whatever your scene this Halloween spend it in Oswestry and Borderlands.
