When you are away on holiday or out on a day trip, you always need to know the best places to go for Sunday lunch! From fine dining to cosy pubs, to lunch with a view, we have something for everyone.

The Wynnstay Hotel dates from 1727 and was a Georgian posting house. Now a 4 star hotel with a restaurant and stylish bar. Located in the town center with ample parking and a lovely garden.

The Griffin Inn is a 17th Century Grade 2 listed public house serving home cooked food. This is an old, town-centre, traditional pub. Cosy three roomed layout, the bar having a shelf of interesting books. 

The West Arms is a 15th century country hotel based just over the border in the pretty village of Llanarmon. Enjoy your roast dinner in the restaurant, the cosy bar or sat in their stunning garden. Dog friendly.

Located in the village of Llansantffraid-ym-Mechain, just over the Welsh border,  The Station Grill serves fresh homemade dishes with locally sourced ingredients. Family & dog friendly with a lovely patio area.

Situated in the heart of Oswestry,  the Townhouse Bar & Brasserie brings a contemporary dining experience within it’s elegant Georgian exterior.  Dine in the bar, restaurant or outside in the garden.
