- Profile
Pistyll Rhaeadr is often referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. The waterfall is formed by the Afon Disgynfa falling in three stages over a 240-foot cliff-face, into the Afon Rhaeadr below.Â
It is the highest waterfall in England or Wales with wonderful rock formations. Footpaths up to the top of the waterfall.Â
Location: Follow signs from the centre of Llanrhaeadr on the B4396. It is a long single track road with occasional passing places, so take care. Parking is very limited. - Photos
